USCIS Extends 60-Day Flexibility for Responses to RFES, NOIDs, and Appeal / Motion Filings

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the USCIS announced yesterday continued flexibility for responding to agency requests, which include Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs). Agency requests issued between March 1st and September 11th will be granted an additional 60 calendar days from the deadline date to submit responses to the USCIS. This announcement extends the USCIS’ earlier one from May, which granted flexibility for requests issued up until July 1st.
