DOS Announces Plans to Resume Routine Visa Services

The Department of State (DOS) announced on its website on Wednesday that it plans to resume routine visa services at U.S. Embassies and Consulates, which have been closed since late March due to COVID-19. Although the DOS indicates that the resumption of visa services will occur on a post-by-post basis based on local conditions, the announcement offers no specific information on which consular posts will resume visa services, or dates for when visa services may resume.
