USCIS Extends 60-Day Flexibility for Responses to RFES, NOIDs, and Appeal / Motion Filings

On Friday, September 11th, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the USCIS announced continued flexibility for responding to agency requests, which include Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs). Agency requests issued between March 1, 2020 and January 1, 2020 will be granted an additional 60 calendar days from the deadline date to submit responses to the USCIS. This announcement extends the USCIS’ earlier one from July, which granted flexibility for requests issued up until September 11th.
