President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris are scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20, 2021, after which Biden is expected to begin executing an extensive plan on immigration that will reverse many restrictive policies implemented under the Trump Administration. Notably, the Biden Administration will reverse Trump’s onerous Public Charge Rule, and restore Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) protection for "Dreamers." Biden’s campaign has also stated its intention to increase the number of "high-skilled visas," and remove the per-country limits on green card allocation.
